Why use BCAA 2:1:1 amino acids? The branched-chain amino acids BCAA 2:1:1 APURNA® are ideal for athletes involved in endurance or strength sports. They help support recovery by repairing muscle tissues. Taking BCAA during exercise also provides a quick source of energy alongside carbohydrates. They will limit the use of muscle amino acids as an energy source during exertion, thus promoting recovery and muscle building. These 3 branched amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine) are mainly found in muscle tissues (35%). They are considered essential because the body does not produce them naturally. Therefore, they must be obtained through diet. For athletes, it's challenging to consume enough BCAA through food to meet the body's needs. Supplementation is necessary to fulfill the muscle requirements of athletes.
