In addition to the waterproof membrane (with a water column of at least 20,000 mm according to JIS L 1092 B), the outer fabric of the men's Croz 3-layer jacket is treated with Eco Finish, a water-repellent and dirt-resistant finish without PFC. Its design meets the needs of female climbers: the two large zipped front pockets can hold a map, gloves and other items, and remain easily accessible even when wearing a backpack and harness. The hood easily fits over a climbing helmet, while staying securely on the head without the helmet thanks to adjustable features, without limiting the field of vision. The sleeves are pre-shaped to prevent the jacket from slipping out of the harness, even during reaches far above head height; the cuffs are adjustable with Velcro. Additionally, the jacket ensures effective thermal regulation thanks to waterproof ventilation zips under the arms.
